For more than twenty years Industrie Maurizio Peruzzo Group offers, on the European market, the nonwoven geotextiles, widely used in water, land and railway construction, and in the protection of the environment.
Using this experience, in 2007 in Świdnica, the company IMP Comfort launched modern line for the production of nonwoven geotextiles, which are sold under the trade name GEOFORT®.
They are made both from polypropylene and polyester fibres in the process of mechanical needling with the possibility of thermal veneering of the surface. This technology provides the ability to control the parameters of finished nonwoven geotextiles, depending on the application and their functions.
The products of GEOFORT® type do not contain any dangerous chemical compounds (e.g., formaldehyde resins, phthalates or other organic compounds), _ and thus, they are environmentally friendly. The polypropylene geotextiles are resistant to mold and mildew, which was confirmed with the results of the tests carried out by an independent Institute of British Textile Technology Group.
GEOFORT® takes over the emerging dynamic stresses and prevents the particular layers of the ground from mixing, which significantly strengthens the road bed and lengthens the service time of communication routes, allowing for economy on the amount of aggregate necessary for the construction, at the same time.
Construction of water tanks, embankments, rivers regulation and strengthening slopes GEOFORT® geotextile makes the free flow of water and gas possible, but prevents the migration of soil particles that causes weakness of support parameters of land and its systematic leaching, which, in turn, can lead to landslides.
The construction of tanks for liquid fuels, gas stations, landfills, municipal waste or composting plants. The environment is highly susceptible to pollution generated by our civilization and therefore must be specially protected. GEOFORT® applied for security of geomembranes and against mechanical damage and the ingress of hazardous substances to land. In addition, because of its permeability GEOFORT® transports waste water and gases arising from landfills.
Construction of tunnels and airports Tunnels and airports are the objects of civil engineering with special requirements. GEOFORT® is applied also for the strengthening of the ground and in order to the take over the dynamic stresses.
Driveways to the garages, temporary sidewalks and paths around the houses, terraces GEOFORT® significantly improves the mechanical ground and simultaneously let the water and gases. For this purpose, it is laid between the layers of the Earth. After laying the ground with GEOFORT® we have prepared the terrain for the pavers or concrete pouring. Geotextiles also help to reduce the amount of aggregate necessary for the substructure of the road or the terrace up to 50%, without the loss of stability of the substrate. GEOFORT® is also a great material for constructing home tennis courts.
Buildings protection GEOFORT® protects the drainage installation around the building against mechanical damage and silting up. The use of nonwoven geotextile makes drainage system works efficiently and effectively: transports water even after many years of operation. In addition, GEOFORT® can protect against puncturing of the foil damp proofing membrane which consitutes an insulation façade.
Swimming pools and garden ponds The foils, which used as sealing layer in swimming pools or garden ponds, are very thin and prone to mechanical punctures. GEOFORT® protects them from punctures from the outside and the inside, ensuring the tightness of the structure even in variable temperatures.
Green roofs In urban conditions, where each square meter of the surface is worthless, GEOFORT® presents a great material for construction of green roofs and terraces. Thanks to its filter properties, while heavy duty, maintains the ground with seedlings in a fixed place.
Household sewage treatment plants A drainage has to be unobstructed in order to be effective. Geotextiles GEOFORT® stops the mud and silt from entering to the drainage drenarskiej layer around the pipe, which otherwise would block the operation of the entire system. Is a cheap and effective way to long-term operation of the whole drainage system.
